Course FAQ

  • Do I need to have mediation experience for Listen Within?

    No, the guided body scan mediation is created for those without meditation experience. Just make yourself comfortable, preferably sitting, and press play.

  • How long is the meditation?

    The meditation itself is 20 min, however set aside about 10 min before and 15 min after. All in all, ensure you have at least time for 45 uninterrupted minutes in a quiet space.

  • Is the mediation ok for those that have a deep trauma history?

    Take caution if you your past holds any “Big T” trauma. When guided to bring in a situation that caused you to feel anxious, choose something other than a memory associated with the trauma. Instead, choose something that has recently happened and was easy to recover from. Maybe a conversation with a co-worker or family member that rubbed you the wrong way. Also, be sure to have at least one calming tool ready to be use.
